David L. Frolicstein CFP®
President and Chief Visionary Officer
David L. Frolicstein CFP has served as owner of Frolicstein Financial Wealth Management since 1986. In 1978, he received his undergraduate degree in education from Northern Illinois University. He received his Master's degree in 1979, also from Northern Illinois University.
In 1987, Dave earned the designation of CFP. He has also qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table more than 20 years, including Court of the Table and Top of the Table qualifications.
Dave is a past President of the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council. Dave is a past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Chicagoland
Dave also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Saint Charles Chamber of Commerce.
Dave was honored by NAIFA Dupage as the 2010 Hall of Fame Member of the Year.
Dave is dedicated to developing lasting relationships with all his clients. He believes in helping each client become confident in assessing his or her financial goals, personal risk number, what risk number their current portfolio is, and what risk number they need to reach their retirement goals. Dave previously played professional trumpet in the Chicago area performing with such luminaries as: Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Bob Hope, Jay Leno and many others in addition to recording commercials and playing first trumpet at the Shubert Theater; ending his full-time career with the Broadway show Cats; at that time the longest-running musical in Chicago. Dave and his wife, Carol, have been married since 1980. They live in St. Charles, IL and are the parents of three adult children. Dave enjoys playing golf and exercising. He has competed in several triathlons, numerous half marathons and completed 3 Chicago Marathons.
